Excellent performance is shaped by repeated training. I asked experienced a ballet dancer to perform movements from putting on ballet shoes to preparatory exercises.

Just as a pianist plays his daily routine before performing, she relaxes her body while being aware of each muscle. By shooting nude, the photographer not only showed the movement of muscles, but also expressed the tension between the photographer and the subject, and his pride in being a performer.

The only ballet shoes she wears are a metaphor for her pride as a performer.

Lighting was feathering so that the subject was enveloped in soft light.

優れたパフォーマンスは繰り返された訓練によって形をなす。バレエの経験者にバレエシューズを履くシーンから、準備運動までの動作を演じてもらった。

ちょうどピアニストが毎日のルーティーンを奏でてから演奏を行うように、筋肉の一筋一筋を意識しながら体をほぐしていく。ヌード撮影により、筋肉の動きを見せるだけでなく、被写体とのフォトグラファーの間の緊張感やパフォーマーとして矜持を表現した。

唯一身につけたバレエシューズは彼女のパフォーマーとしての誇りのメタファーである。

ライティングはフェザーリングを使って被写体が柔らかい光に包まれるようにした。
