根源への旅　「雪」　JOURNEY TO THE ORIGIN – SNOW – 2020~ ongoing

I felt uncomfortable with the pictures of autumn filled with crimson autumn leaves and the pictures of cherry blossoms in full bloom now.　Nature is not always peak.  I think that it is beautiful enough.  I am charmed the nature that shows us ordinary.
 
While studying photography, I learned about the claim of "anti-climax" advocated by new color photographers.

What I was looking for in nature photography was anti-climax. The nature I met was wonderful regardless of the season or the weather.

I want to express the "equal value" that nature shows with photographs.

I am not looking for beautiful moments in nature. I want to face the essence of nature and express it in photographs.

真紅の紅葉で埋め尽くされた秋の写真や今が盛りと咲き誇る桜の写真に私は違和感を感じていた。自然は盛りばかりでない。それでも十分素敵だ。私はむしろ普段の自然が見せる美しさの方に魅力を感じる。

写真を学んでいく中で、ニューカラーの写真家達が提唱した「アンチ・クライマックス」という主張を知った。

私が自然の写真の求めていたものはアンチ・クライマックスである。私が出会った自然は季節や天候にかかわらず素敵であった。

自然が見せる「等価値」を写真で表現したいと思っている。
